Wouldn’t recommend moving in if you have a family. Super crowded complex with lots of unpredictable noise, whether it be the maintenance crew whipping around the complex on big noisy mowers always before 9am, every week, on an unpredictable day or the thin walls you can hear everything through (people talking, cars starting up, dogs barking, teenagers that wander around / party late at night)
As New Jersey natives and retirees, transplanted to Hillsborough, NC, we were looking for a community that offered large, modern, clean apartments, a swimming pool, clubhouse, outdoor seating and most of all, convenience. We found all of this and more in our first floor Ardmore Cates Creek two-bedroom apartment.
Last year we moved into a brand new apartment with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and a really nice salt water pool and grilling pavilion with outdoor fireplace for about 2/3 of what we paid in Chapel Hill (10 minutes down the road). Staff was nice. Good schools. Quiet area. No complains whatsoever. We're moving out because we bought a house, otherwise we would have stayed. 20 minutes to UNC.
My boyfriend and I moved suddenly from Wisconsin and not only was the staff friendly and knowledgeable but they helped us move quickly. The grounds and the amenities are beautiful. The laundry/fitness center/pool/wireless lounge/grilling pavilion are all well kept, easy to access and use and, clean. We haven't had an issue with noise - as this is a pet friendly place we haven't had an issue with dogs barking or anything related. We really enjoy to live in Ardmore Cates Creek, beautiful place, easy access for any place and great support from staff office! We regret not to move here before!
Me and my family have loved living her so far. Management has been great, and it’s a beautiful place. The 3 bedroom is very spacious with lots of storage.
