Working with Michelle has been an amazing experience! I have never felt more supported than with her. She is empathetic, professional and has cultural competency that allows her to connect with numerous populations. She also very hardworking, organized, a great listener, and has strong communication skills.

Their commitment to affirming, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ competent care genuinely shows in everything they do — from their professionalism and thoughtful communication to their deep involvement in the community.

Joselyn Romero was rude. She told me that I could have done it myself. My thought was: that’s exactly why I came here. Please keep comments like that to yourself. I will not be coming back.

The team at Arches are such a great resource- Joselyn has brought together a great group of therapists who really put the need of the client as their priority. Their commitment to their work shows in the quality of their interactions with anyone who I refer to them, and shows in the resources they put out for the community.

The place itself is very nice and a welcoming atmosphere. Parking is pretty easy, location is central, bus routes go near. If you miss a session without canceling 24 hours earlier, the fee is 100 dollars and non-negotiable. My therapist (CJ) is great and works well for me, but it seems like a lot of the therapists in Arches are newer and younger, so look out for red flags. There’s no shame in looking for a different therapist if you feel yours isn’t giving quite what you need.
