I’ve waited to post this because I wanted to find the right words. Dogs get lost, it happens every day. What I still cannot wrap my head around is that the family was not notified for a substantial amount of time after the dog went missing which no doubt led to the tragic outcome of the owner watching the dog get hit and having to deal with that image playing over and over again in her head. How do you fail at the one job of keeping a pet safe while their owner was away? How do you wait 24 hours to notify them you lost their pet? And how do you offer “animal control was notified” as your way of avoiding responsibility? Now that their pet was killed due to your blatant neglect how are you going to compensate them? Uh!!!! You lost a baby and THEN THE BABY GOT KILLED IN FRONT OF THE OWNER BECAUSE YOU LOST A TINY PUP AND LITERALLY WAITED A WHOLE DAY TO NOTIFY THE OWNER. Archdale animal clinic lost my friends dog so maybe think twice before dealing with them

Today I watched a scared 4 pound dog run into the busy highway to his death. This was all a result of negligence from Archdale Animal Clinic. This poor dog was being boarded there and some how “got away”. Owners were not notified until almost 24 hours later! His owners searched for him and found him in the median of the highway 2 miles from the Clinic! Scared, he ran from his owner and I into the road costing him his life. After this clinic allowed the escape of a tiny 4 lb dog left in their care for boarding, waited more than 24 hours to inform the owners, and said dog was then killed on the highway nearly 2 miles away, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST using their services.
This place is an absolute disgrace. I used them years ago, but when my dogs died after being boarded there, that was it. Mind you they had a clean bill of heath when they entered. Then, a friend of mine boards her beloved pet here and they LOOSE the dog!!!!!! You had one job and you failed!! That’s not even the worst part. She has been out looking for her dog all morning because she wasn’t notified about her pup until this morning. She located him in the median of I85. They lost someone's dog and the dog ended up getting hit in traffic. Shame on the clinic and the carelessness of the workers. I haven't used them since they didn't care if my dog died while sick and caught an attitude with me. I hope these people sue this "clinic"
