Dr. Kumaran changed my life. I needed a revision from a previous (different Dr) failed weight loss surgery and he took me as a patient. I had the sleeve done and was a success. He explains everything so you can understand and his bedside is wonderful. He actually seems to care!!! One year out I hit my goal and have kept it off for another year. Not a negative thing to say. I am a new person, thank you Dr. Kumaran.
I’m glad to make my Surgery with Dr. Kumaran Chinnappan. Dr. Kumaran was very kind. He explained everything about the surgery, so he made me felt very comfortable to do the surgery.
Dr. Chinnappan really knows his stuff! He was very careful and made sure that I was ready and appropriate for surgery. He has a great bedside manner, I have great trust in his abilities.
My gastric sleeve surgery was a complete success. No pain, no complications and I returned to work in one week.
Dr. Kumaran was a great Doctor, as well as his staff. He made the entire Gastric Sleeve surgery experience positive from the initial visit to the time I did the surgery. I had no complications and recommend Dr. Chinnappan. I have lost 100 lbs and feel better than ever, I appreciate all of his help. 5 stars
Dr Kumaran is the best all around surgeon in St Louis and has an excellent staff who are knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend him above all others as he is extremely talented and professional, courteous and genuine.

If you are looking for a great doctor then you have found him! From the moment I scheduled my first appointment (they actually called me unlike other offices) to my post op appointments, things have been top knotch with Dr. Chinnapann and his team. The best Dr and staff. Everyone at the office is caring and knowledgeable. They helped me change my life. Dr Chinnappan is the best bariatric surgeon in the area. I would not change a thing. He is great.
