We asked Mike Davis to come give us a bid on stump removal. Someone came and said $200 and he needed $100 for a deposit. He said to make the check out to Jeremy D.. Our check was cashed November 20th and we have not heard from them since. The business address, 11135 FM 1541, does not exist. We would not recommend this business to anyone. (I would not even give them one star but it is required to post this comment).
Jeremy became rude after I paid all that was owed, before the work was completed. There are several things that i was not happy about, and even had another reputable contractor come out and look at the steel fence he installed, but he refused to hear me or talk with them about some issues. I won't get into all of it, however to this day I have 3 different brown colors on my brown fence that was around $9,000.00. My wife hired Discount Lawn & Tree to repair a pond in our back yard in June of 2016. She liked Mike and Jeremy so much that we expanded the job to include redoing our sprinkler system and building a playhouse and pergola. We still like Mike and Jeremy, but we could have bought a nice 2-bedroom home for what we have now paid them. If you have unlimited funds and time and patience, these guys can do some really nice landscaping. My advice to anyone wanting to use these guys: get a firm bid which includes completion dates! Hi, I am Mike Davis owner of Discount Lawn and Tree. We did in fact do a job for Mr. & Mrs. ******* well I say that Mostly Mrs. D******. The agreement to begin the project was 3 guys at 28.33 per man hour plus materials to be paid weekly on Fridays to rebuild a river and waterfall.
