The prices are criminal. The university is extorting its students and staff with markups that are more egregious than the airport. At least I can get edible food at the airport. Stay away from the sandwiches, particularly the one I just got from a company called "Emuna". I paid $13 for the thing and when I unwrapped it it was sopping wet, the lettuce was wilted, and the onions were GREY. Worst thing I've ever taken a half a bite of. Disgusting. Shame on CSUN for having standards this low for their students.
The Food here is trash especially for the price. Why in the world are the prices 20% more than any other place near the campus. It's like they want to punish students for getting food on campus. The service is good but that's it.
I honestly hate this place. I place an order that takes too long and the second I get a refund, they call out my order number. I go back 10 minutes later to get the same thing since I’m starving at that point and ask the people who make the food if they have a specific thing and they say yes. But when I try to order again, the person at the register says they don’t have it. Make it make sense.
The place is great, but the only problem I find is how expensive everything is, especially for college students. Just three chicken strips cost about $10—without fries or a drink included.
