I have been taking my dog George there for several years now and Dr Saggs (not sure if spelled right) did surgery on him last week. He did excellent job explained every thing before surgery and all my questions were answered after surgery! He is a excellent vet and everyone in the office is extremely nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this Vet.
2 times in less than a year they have wanted to put my girl to sleep. Once was for kidney and liver failure before test were done. I insisted they do the test and give me meds for her upset tummy. Test xome back and her liver and kidneys are in wonderful shape. The second she has a couple of seizures. They told me she had a stroke, her heart was weak and she wasn't getting enough oxygen. Both my dogs are getting up there in age and I have been going to Arapahoe for a long time. I've seen both Dr Mahoney and Dr Skaggs and always treated with respect and professionalism. They're prices are more reasonable than other vets, especially out west. Love going to Arapahoe!
I have always had a positive experience. He really does care for his patients. My Bengal has asthma and the vet is awesome when I have to bring him in for a steroid shot.
The Dr. Was very rude to my wife and daughter when they took our German Shepherd in for an ear infection. All he talked about was his hatred and fear for German Shepherds and we got no diagnoses or help for our dog and was still charged for an office visit. Not for sure which Dr. it was as my wife had never seen him there before. We have ceased going there and have taken our business elsewhere.
Very friendly and answered all of our questions as first time pet parents!
I have been a client here since 1985, through 3 cats & 5 dogs. Dr Mohney has been a great & compassionate vet. I have come to respect Dr. Skaggs too. He not only treats our pets he also educates me!
I have taken all my animals here for years. I love the friendly service. Walkins welcome. Hardly ever a wait.
