Arapahoe Credit Union is the not-for-profit version of a bank. We do everything they do, but we do it for the community and our members/ owners. We do not pay investors, we do not give huge corporate salaries and we do not make risky decisions with other people's money. RecommendedI have been a member of ACU for over 30 years. They have great customer service, quick response time, and are always able to answer my questions.
I recommend using all of there personal bank services. I really like Arapahoe Credit Union. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful when sorting through your banking needs. They have all the facilities of a big bank. One feedback I would give is that the online bank is a bit of hassle experience as you have to use two apps to get a full picture of your banking status. Aside from the online banking issue, I am glad I switch over to them.
I paid them to close out ALL of my accounts. Over a year later I come to find out that they never closed out my of "credit", over-draft protection account, and have been taking $15/late fee's out of my moms account every month. Their Debt Manager played dumb about the whole thing. They are a bunch of liars and one of the worst banks I have ever had to deal with. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Credit Union.
