One star because the agents may know how they should respond to customers in a friendly way, but (State Farm claim personal ) waste time because they don't work out and they don't want to lose a penny, that is, even when people explained in detail and with evidence about the damage caused by nature, such as rain and wind, to the fence or any other damage on the property State Farm just wants to remove and reinforce and put back the same wood (in a fence damage) that is no longer usable. We have roof damage from a storm with missing shingles and missing granular on the shingles. When the roofer went on the roof to video the repair missing shingles there is more damage of losing granular on the shingles but also the shingle tabs lifted are cracked and will be coming off the next storm. All my neighbors with roof damage are getting their roofs replaced from other reputable insurance companies and my roof keeps losing shingles after storms. State Farm is the worst when it comes to claims. Someone hit my parked car while I was pumping gas. He gave me his insurance information which was State Farm and his number. Then he lied to his Insurance so they denied my claim! The representative I dealt with at State Farm was very rude! I called to check my claim once a day and she told me to not keep calling they will reach out to me after it’s been 3 weeks. Very unprofessional!

Our 2022 Jeep Compass was rear-ended by a State Farm policyholder, resulting in significant damage to our vehicle's bumper and engine malfunction. We contacted State Farm to start the claim process,our initial interactions with their claims team were unprofessional. State farm issued a check to me on November 22,2022 in the amount of $9,254.49 for replacement of my stolen vehicle. Months later they are now claiming that I was over paid and requesting that I pay back $6,393.39. I am not happy about this. Why should I have to pay back after they were the ones that issued the check, and to come back 3 months later after I have bought another vehicle with the check. It was their mistake. Worst service I have ever received when dealing with a claim. I would never purchase a policy with them again! We are completely disgusted with how we have been treated as a whole. We were continually told things would be done that were not done and there was never follow up. We would call and call and still after a month, NOTHING IS DONE!!

They aren't like they make out too be even with discounts that you get state farm raised my premium I made one change and put me as primary driver which I have no tickets and no accidents went from 149 a month to 170. So they really aren't that great.

State Farm claims department is the worst In the industry. They hire unknowledgeable, uncaring adjusters. They care zero about customer service. My agent is great and so are his staff folks, but claims is horrible.

I filed a claim for water damage with State Farm on March 10th. After several calls to schedule an adjutor today, he called and said he had a family emergency and could not make it. Someone else would call to schedule. When I call the agent, John Luithly, State Farm Agent, 192 TECHNOLOGY DRIVE SUITE F, IRVINE, CA 92618. I spoke to "Honey" i believe her name is.
