they are supposed to be local in fredericksburg, va. They are NOT at this address They are rude and insistent on getting credit card and stating they do not work with insurance companies.. do not do any business with them
I'd give this company not even one star, I was told they'd give me a bill or a call before charging a credit card. Wasn't the case found out after seeing my credit card statement, I called to see if I could change the card billed to and I was told I could not and I should've thought about that the first time when it was given to hold the machine needed. They wouldn't even do payments for a struggling family who couldn't pay 300 up front, I could be sent to collections if that's what I wanted to do
My physician sent a perscription to Apria on August 14, 2013 for a new Bi-PAP machine to replace my old one that had finally quit. After more than 2 months and numerous excuses from Apria, I did not have the new machine. They gave excuses about the perscription having gotten lost in the system somehow, waiting for insurance approval, etc. I called my insurance company and found out it had been approved, then called Apria and gave them the insurance tracking number. Don't ever use this company! Don't ever use this company! The office site is not really easy to find, everything is done by phone so they have minimal staff, and billing has been outsourced to some foreign country like Pakistan or India. Customer service was poor, billing was bullyish. Billing wasn't reasonable in prices or accomodation. I had a home oxygen generator for 3 months. Service after the sale for CPAP includes 1 phone call. I called the resp therapist 4 times over 2 weeks. My 30 day warranty ended with no return call.
As I was rooting around in a box of supplies Jerry/Apria sent me almost two weeks ago, I found the critical part that I said he had dropped the ball on. It was here all the time, nestled in a box of other supplies!! I had not been thorough looking thru it before. I am so sorry, I need not be so critical. Apria did exactly what they promised, they shipped the part precisely when they said they would. I just did not see it. If it were up to me, I would delete my original post.
