Don't use this movers. Didn't speak English, they were fast, but destroyed many of my pieces, including the feet on my drawers, broke off the seat on my favorite bicycle and are not repairing it, rather giving me some money, but never told me how much. How odd. I would NOT use them. They are NOT careful. And, stupid me, I tipped them and then saw the massive damage. DO not tip until you inspect every piece or even better, do not use them.
Careless and irresponsible! AVOID THEM. If you have no other choice, read the fine print. The 2 men that showed up did not speak English, and were careless with our furniture, which were the only things they were required to move, as we already took care of everything else. They scraped the walls of our brand new home, and worst of all, destroyed a $1500 framed artwork during transport due to careless placing, covering and lack of protection on the truck. I just received my claim check for 60 cents per pound of the piece. No... read more
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!!!! It poured down rain the day of my move. The movers, 2 of which were obviously day laborers who did not speak English, did not cover my piano (an antique handed down from my late Grandmother). Because of this, the piano suffered damage that will cost $1900 to repair. I contacted Apple Moving to let them know of the issue right away. It took over 2 weeks for them to get someone to assess the damage. They sent their piano specialist to my house who informed both myself and App... read more
Do not recommend My husband and I used Apple Moving DFW, the company owned by Will Chilton, to move our household goods this year. Apple Moving in Austin is not affiliated with this company. Apple Moving DFW is owned by Will Chilton and registered with TxDOT under # 000533851B. It is located at 2653 Myrtle Springs in Dallas and is constantly advertised on Live! 105.3. We were originally supposed to have only two movers, but three showed up. You think this is good, right? Wrong! I was there by myself with all three movers mov... read more
Really awful company, terrible customer service We went with Apple Moving because they boast of being professional "insured" movers who will take good care of you. They do live spots on the radio all the time, asking you why on earth would you have a friend help you move... what if they drop your expensive TV?!?! Well you wouldn't have to worry about that with them, because they are "insured" and everything they move will be covered! Well... that is exactly what happened to us. One of their "professional" movers, who could n... read more
Horrible experience TERRIBLE!!!! They broke items, overcharged us, were incredibly slow (they get paid by the hour), and never paid us back for the boxes that they didn't pack! The customer service was even poor and the management wouldn't return an email... Extremely dissatisfied. DO NOT use them!
Apple Movers is the worst movinig and storage co. We used them to move our furniture to their storage facility and paid them for almost 2 years storage. They lost a custom made sofa and other items. They never had an insurance adjuster contact us about any damage that we claimed. They are the worst storage and movers. Even with mediation, we could not resolve. How do you lose a sofa being moved to your storage facility? Warning, do not use them.
Worst Movers Ever!!! All I can say is that, from my experience, this is the worst, unprofessional business around. Start with the receptionist. Awful experience all the way through!
They dropped the ball on a local move We hired Apple Movers for a local move. Their letterhead says Apple Moving, but they are Apple Movers at 2635 Myrtle Springs Ave. in Dallas, TX. They were very professional and accommodating in the initial set up. But on the day of the move, the truck broke down on the way to our home, and we were stuck with trying to manage the move. The replacement truck was not big enough for the move, so we had to make two trips and even help move items to complete the work in one day. The replacemen... read more
