I got my glasses there in 2009, and thought it was terrible customer service. There is one woman there (possibly at retirement age) that has the biggest attitude, as she is better than anyone that walks thru the door. Went to get my glasses adjusted as they sat crooked on my face, and they proceeded to tell me that nothing was wrong. Never going back.
I have never written a review before but I happen to come across this website and couldn't believe some of the bad reviews this place got because I have been a customer of Apple Eye for many years and I have never had a problem, they are always busy which should tell you people keep coming back just like myself. people love to complain but I'm here to say Good job Apple Eyewear and give you a thumbs up!
Not really. The ONLY reason we use Apple is that they are the only ones who take my insurance. Slow service, lost orders, etc. But at least i have my glasses.
The absolute worst customer service I ever seen. I went directly out of work and this older lady looked me up and down, then proceeded to act too busy to help me. She actually asked me for $$-giving me the feeling that she thought of me as a scumbag who couldn't afford her lousy glasses. I HAD ALREADY PAID IN ADVANCE. I will never spend a cent there again and I recommend to NOT go there to a place with employees who are pre-judging customers. I went to Apple Eye for the first time and have been wearing glasses for a long time and have been to many optical retailers and I had a Great experience at this place,,the place is small and they were very busy but they were very nice and spent time with me and I get a lot of compliments on my glasses as in the past other places let me choose a frame that did not fit my face and did not explain the lenses that were right for my prescription,I would recommend Apple to everyone,,,I Love this place.
They deserved the rating of "no star". I did not have a pleasant experience at Apple Eyewear. I went there because they are convenience after I had my eyes exam at Koch Eye at Warwick. The staffs at Apple Eyewear were just ok for the first time I was there. One week later, I picked up my glasses on Saturday, there were no other customers except me, and those two staffs were enjoying their breakfast, and I was waiting for 15 MINUTES before they asked "how can I help you?". We have been using Apple Eyewear for at least 8 years. We have never had any problems. They have a good selection, good prices and our order always arrives quickly. Some of the employees have ZERO personality but I can live with that.
Been going to them for about seventeen years now. I've never have a single problem, the staff is always friendly, even the other people who are there looking for glasses are pleasant. They always have what I want and, if they don't, get it for me within four days. Sometimes I break my glasses on accident and, even if my warranty has expire or whatever, they'll fix it for free.
