Dr.. Jonathan Cole was instrumental in helping my left shoulder regain about 80 % motion after about a month of exercises & dry needling. I fully recommend Appalachian Physical Therapy.
You are made to feel like you're the only one they are caring for, beginning with a lengthy discussion before treatment about ailments and expectations, followed by a very gradual exercise and stretching program. The therapist is always soliciting feedback indicating that you are being observed closely. I can feel positive results after just two visits.
Teri is awesome! She is always friendly, answers all my questions, and has been very helpful in relieving stress from my muscles by working knots out.

Al Mangum Pinehurst ★★★★★ a minute ago I have been in and out of physical therapy since i had spinal surgery in 2015. I tried several places, but by the grace of God, a friend told me about Ray Metzger, owner of Appalacian Therapy at Olmsted Village in Pinehurst. In other places I was lucky to get 45 min. of care, but Ray and his staff give you sessions of up to an-hour-and-a-half. It's all about the patient at Appalachian and they do it with professional experience and a smile!
Appalachian Physical Therapy in Pinehurst is the place to go if you want personalized treatment for your post-surgery or rehabilitation needs. Everyone is very professional, friendly, and dedicated. Karen is so knowledgeable and has a big bag of tricks! If one thing doesn't work, she has another one waiting in the wings to help you on your way to recovery. I highly recommend APT in Pinehurst.
