Easy to deal with and excellent work. I would definitely use them again, and again.
I've used Mike a couple of times now and you can always count on them to call you back and show up (which is a hard thing to find in the mountains!) This particular project needed a fast turnaround time to fix some water damage in the garage, and a few smaller projects. They came out last minute and replaced the rotten wood, dug out the dirt on the back, put in a drain and fixed the log and chinking siding.

It's tough to find workers to help when you have a catastrophic event (such as a tree falling on your house) and that's just what Michael did for us. The people he sent us were prompt, polite and they knew what they were doing. We had damage to the roof and leaks through to the inside. Michael had found people for us before just to do some handyman repairs and then he really came through with the roof. Appalachian Construction responded quickly to a moisture problem around an exterior door. They replaced damaged floor substrate and door trim on the interior and exterior of the door. They also identified the root of the problem, missing flashing under the door, and installed flashing. Everyone from the repair to the office support staff did a great job. They communicated timely and I recommend them for house repairs.
Appalachian Construction made repairs to our cabin on short notice. Their work was fairly priced and they completed the work in a timely manner. They also periodically checked in with me to let me know of the work progress. I would not hesitate to contact Appalachian Construction and Handyman again for further work. Lee H.
