Shamefully unprofessional. Refused to answer my calls, as I missed an appointment, Which was the first one in a year. I'm always on time, never cancelled an appointment. Called 2 times day I missed, and 4 times following day. When I used my daughter's phone, they answered. They also lost my chart for 2 months. The receptionist/office manager is also very moody. If she is having a problem that day, you will hear all about it.
This is the single WORST counseling center in all of Baltimore. I would strongly recommend that you avoid them at all costs - even if you are desperate. They were directly responsible through incompetence and misinformation for thwarting my attempt to receive the immediate care my condition demanded. When I tried to lodge a complaint with the General Manager I was dismissed out of hand, apparently because I dared to be upset at the completely misleading communications that occurred prior to my making an appointment. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and organization this office has displayed. I recently saw a psychotherapist no longer in their office, and all the insurance reimbursements wrongfully got sent to Apex, and Apex cashed the checks and my insurance has proof. It has been 2 months and Apex has not returned any phone calls made from my insurance company, and so I went into the office today.
