Dr. Kandel is highly skilled in what he does, he does not slack when it comes to his job and the patient is always his top priority, i had diverticulitis and he was there for me every single step of the way, he knew exactly what move to make and when to make it, Dr. Kandel saved my life. if any cases like mine big or small, you absolutely will not go wrong with Dr. kandel.

Dr. Kandel performed both my wife's and my colonoscopies. Knowing that he was extremely knowledgeable and talented, as I have had the pleasure of working as a registered nurse in surgery and endoscopy under him, I was comfortable with my decision to allow Dr. Kandel to care for my family. We were not disappointed. His decision to relocate from Maine to a warmer climate was truly a major blow to our hospital and community. I can honestly say he is the best surgeon I have seen in 31 yrs as an RN

Dr. Kandel demonstrated a caring and professional attitude towards my husband and myself when we individually required treatment. During his tenure at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle Maine, we individually were referred to him for testing and also for procedures to correct colon and rectal issues. We found that Dr. Kandel exceeded our expectations on every level providing full explanations of the procedure or test to be performed and during follow-up care. He responded to our needs.
He listened to my problem. I had a colonoscopy. It was scheduled quick and convenient. He explained the results to me in words I would understand. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good Doctor.
As a nurse and patient of his at TAMC, Dr. Kandel is one of the best surgeons by far. My brother died of colon cancer several years before, so it was important to trust my surgeon. His patient outcomes were great. Great bedside manner, explanations, patient recovery role. Shortened recovery times with laparoscopic surgery.
