After receiving a positive cologuard test our primary care doctor requested he get a coloscopy. After researching on the internet we selected Dr. Kandel. Dr. Kandel besides being board certified and affialated with several hospitals he is caring and treats his patients as if they are family. His office staff Jessica and Melissa are extremely efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly and also treat you as if you are family. I highly recommend Dr. Kandel and his staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Kandel's for a while now and he and his staff are always so nice and courteous every time I see them. The office is always very clean, and is always run very efficiently. Dr. Kandel is always so helpful in explaining things to me so I fully understand and really cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kandel to anyone.
He seems very qualified but his office runs like a bunch of 3 year olds are doing it. How many times should a person have to fill out same fn paperwork in a week!!?? We still have fax machines and emails but I still have to do it every time. Yes, anesthesiologist need all info and yes it's a different building but dam already!!! Oh, and answer you fn phones or at least have an answering machine!!!!
Dr. Kandel is one of the best doctors I have had. Him and his staff are very knowledgeable and explain everything so you can understand everything they are telling you. I definitely recommend him for anyone needing a colon and rectal doctor.
Dr Kandel was recommended by my PCP. I did not go to his office but made the appointment through one of his employees. The procedure was done in Mansfield. Dr. Kandel came by my bed prior to the procedure, but I had to ask if he was Dr Kandel. He never would have introduced himself to me. All he said was “You’re the one who called me several times last night. I said “Two times.” That was it. His bedside skills were terrible. I considered him rude and condescending.
My insurance would have paid entire procedure if dr would have coded it right. Bcbs are the ones who said to recode & resubmit but Dr K refused. Tried calling him directly & was promised a return call but it never came. I could have had same procedure done for 1/4 the price at other places if I’d known I had to pay all out of pocket. I’ll never go back.
Dr. Kandel took care of me 10 percent. If It had not been for him I probably would not be here today! Would recommend him to EVERYONE!!
Awesome dr. Took the time with me and addressed all my concerns. His office staff and nurses are amazing and truly care!
Dr Kandel is an excellent physician. He has provided care with passion on two occasions in the last few weeks. He's sincere and takes time to listen and explained my condition where I could understand it. He made me feel comfortable and was very understanding not pushy at all. His nurse is very nice and caring as well. The receptionist was very helpful and I was able to be scheduled really quick as a new patient. I will continue to use Dr Kandel, and would highly recommend him..
