Great service, good food, romantic atmosphere – My fiance and I went here the first time almost by mistake, and since then it has become one of our favorite restaurants. The staff is attentive, but also respectful of the guests' space, so you can have a romantic "date night." The food is great, always well prepared, presented, and unique. A little pricey, but well worth it. The owner even comes out to greet the guests. Makes it feel homey and not as generic as some restaurants.

don't listen to these bad reviews – I wonder if "dmar5143" actually tasted the "vinegar" they serve with the bread. It is a mix of extra virgin olive oil, herbs, and balsamic vinegar. Also, I've never tasted cornbread that tasted like their Italian bread. What an EMBARRASSMENT – Simply put, this food tasted like it was from a TV dinner. No joke. I'm originally from NY and used to GREAT Italian food and I have to say, BY FAR this was the WORST Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The ONLY thing nice about this place was the ambience and they do it up real nice because they must know the food is terrible. villa antonio ballantyne – The villa antonio new location is not even close to the original. They published a self review in a local paper and said their staff was the "Rolls Royce of courteous and knowledeable" what a joke. On two visits to the new location, my family and I found the staff to be rude and certainly not knowledeable. The prices are outrageous and the wine list is so overpriced it is insulting. not what it used to be – me and my wife been loyal costumers of villa antonio for more than 8 years and is very sad for me to see that the food is not what it used to be is over priced and quality is not there food it used to be tasty i wil no come back there anymore i like antonio the owner service is good but they need to get that quality back
