Tallahassee lost an excellent physician today! I'm actually still sitting here teary eyed at his leaving to Jacksonville. I only saw him twice, and he was nice but not very caring about the patient. I had problems with my insulin pump and Dr. Guillirue had taken the time to read my alerts and alarms and was going to advocate for a new pump. I shared the problem with him. He had me see the pump trainer. I fought with the pump from December 6 to February with it not despensing insulin. I called tandem 6 times. My sugars were in the 400s. Finally, Tandem reviewed all the alarm/alert codes and sent me a new pump. I sent them the old broken device. ... read more
Dr. Kafrouni is the most knowledgeable, caring, diligent, kindest doctor I've ever known. My daughter was diagnosed with so many things and he was such a huge advocate for her and her treatment. I highly recommend!
