Business Owner Born and raised in Greece, Foti moved to Birmingham where he attended and graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and received a bachelors in philosophy. He then graduated from Texas Health & Science University in Austin and received a Masters in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. He established Anthos Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic in 2015.

I went in for migraines and Foti helped me change my diet. I’m happy to say my daily migraines have decreased to only a few a month now with his help.
Just wow. I went to Foti today for some lower back, hip flexor, and sciatic pain issues, and he set me at ease immediately. Foti has a way of communicating complex concepts simply. I’ve had acupuncture with two other Birmingham practitioners, and this was by FAR the best experience overall in terms of professionalism, knowledge, and thoroughness. I left feeling less pain, relaxed, and looking forward to the next visit.
I have had 3 visits for migraines. The first a week ago. They have been an issue for years. I have been migraine headache free since my first visit. I mention a nausea issue on my 2nd visit 5 days ago. It was a daily occurrence. He treated that as well and I have been nausea free for 5 days - a miracle in my life. He did what a Neurologist, Gastroenterologist, and Daith piercing could not. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Sardelis goes above and beyond to help is patients.If you have any acute or chronic pain go and see him. I had a lot of pain,swelling, and muscle tension after a nasty fall at work left me bed ridden with a broken ankle. To my surprise he drove out to my house and one acupuncture treatment reduced it all to the point that i could comfortably lay and sit again. If you have any doubts about his treatments pay him a visit and experience it for yourself. I will most certainly go back to him for more treatments

Foti has an incredibly calm and soothing energy and is extremely knowledgeable about his profession. He was attentive throughout the entire acupuncture process and walked this newbie through her first appointment. Birmingham is fortunate to have Anthos; I would recommend Foti's clinic to anyone hoping to relieve an ongoing ailment or to improve their overall health and quality of life.
Went in for treatment of a nagging hip injury with acute pain that had not responded to traditional orthopedic treatments including nsaids, cortisone injections, and physical therapy. Foti gave me one treatment which included, acupuncture (with tens), and heat therapy. Tonight I am pain free after suffering with this injury since October of last year.
