I had an absolutely incredible patient experience from first appointment setting with Elizabeth to conversations with Dr. Kim, admission on surgery day at Mission Hospital, the procedure, discharge, and the recovery. I am 2 days post-op and fully functional. Dr. Kim thought about everything I would need including starting medications prior to surgery that would help the healing process. This is my second surgery with Dr. Kim. Not only is he completely knowledgeable, he is compassionate and takes his time explaining and detailing out everything he is going to do during surgery. His office manager, Elizabeth, is absolutely amazing. She answers every email almost immediately and works closely with Dr. Kim scheduling appointments, surgeries and whatever else is needed to facilitate the very best care. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to both of them.

He did 2 very complex spinal surgeries on me, and he was very thorough and knowledgable and helpful. He is a perfectionist who lays awake at night trying to do better every day. Ask him about his volunteer work.
