Super thorough and thoughtful physician. The best primary care I have had.
Do not schedule or book anything with this doctor. Avoid being charged with extra items in your bill. I went for the annual physical exam that was going to be covered by my insurance and ended up with a $700 bill with out of the blue charges. I asked the Dr and he said those charges were topics were covered in the visit but he never specified what exactly. There are other reviews with exactly the same issue with this doctor and I bet there are more that are not on the reviews.
It seems that an Automatic survey request is sent out via email to patients after each visit to Stanford Healthcare, and this email is signed by David Entwistle (President and CEO of Stanford Health Care). So I filled out the survey in early August. After almost 1 month, there is no response from Stanford and no one reached out to me. I was recommended to visit Dr Koh and looking at the positive and glowing reviews I decided to visit this doctor for my allergies and gall bladder problems which used to get excaberated with environment changes. During the course of treatment which required me to pay copay per visit, he forced me to visit a surgeon thus charging specialist fees as a precondition to sign a letter for my workplace. Received a very +ve feedback and reference about Dr Koh hence I was scheduling my annual physical however his office told me that it can't be done. The first visit MUST be a new patient visit and cannot be annual physical. Spoke with my insurance and all my past experiences and found there is no such rule. Guess I would never know how great Dr Koh is due to the prehistoric front office and their bureaucratic policies... Thank you for nothing.
