I had a appointment for a consult for a torn meniscus. I saw the doctor for, at the most 2 minutes. He gave me a cortizone shot and said Lisa would schedule my surgery. As I went to the front desk, I was told by Lisa that she was working the front and she would call me to schedule my surgery. I was told if I did not hear from her the next day (Thursday) to call her. Dr Anthony Lombardo did both of my knees in 2009 and 2010. I chose the Stryker mfg with his provided competent explanations on the various knees available at the time. I will return to Dr Lombardo in the fall and have both knees re checked for wear do to age. He is the best knee surgeon ever! If you wanted more time more info from him he was more than happy to oblige your concerns. My 2 knees that he put in have been pain free and I don’t even know they were replaced. Dr Lombardo and Sherry took great care of me. I had total knee replacements 1.5 years apart. Both knees are nearly perfect now. I had zero complications and 100% success. BOTH TIMES!! He also fixed a rotator cuff repair and it was also a total success.
As a physical therapist I know what to expect from a surgeon. Dr. Lombardo was extremely competent, knee surgery and post op went well. Would highly recommend
