I was referred to this company by my home warranty company. Anthony the service tech knew what he was doing. However after diagnosing the problem he never came back. Subsequently after enduring 110 degree heat for 7 days while we waited for a part 10 min before they were to arrive they said it was the wrong part. So another week of 110 degree heat and still they didn't come back. Finally another tech came who said they just threw me on this job installed the new pump but did not fix the air conditioner. Worst company ever!!!! They charged us $920 for the California tittle 24 that was never performed. And left a leak on the high pressure valve due to overheating while installing the AC compressor, causing all the gas to escape. We left several messages after we find out the AC was not cooling and they never returned our phone call. I believe in giving companies a chance to correct any mistakes and waited several days before deciding to take this action, but this company has no customer service at all and seems they do not ca... read more

The HERS test is a test that is done after the work has been completed and involves a thrid party company and requiored by the state of CA, I am sorry that you did not get through on our phone system. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. If you need to call them don’t even try I can rarely get anyone to answer. With there automated service I chose to have someone call me back and every time they did call me back I waited on hold again or I got disconnected. Enough about talking with someone, now about actually being helped the people they contract to come out and do repairs for AC are terrible. They need to work with better people. That means we are not suppose to do any work on your job until we report back to your home warranty company for approval. Since the tech originally found something small (a blown transformer) we directed him to go back and do the repair as a courtesy to you. Would not get part even after 12 weeks. A single senior lady in her seventies, In the coldest part of winter I lost my heat. Anthem said because I had a home warranty, it would take 6 weeks. At 6 weeks they said it would be another 6 weeks and at 12 weeks another 6 weeks, because I had a home warranty and that the part was back ordered. When my home warranty fired them, the new company made one call to a parts company 4 miles away and they had the part and was never back ordered. Anthem, has been incredible. Good service, fair pricing, my tech is Ruben. Neat, clean, knowledgeable. He now also does our neighbors home also after he watched him at our home.

It took them 4 weeks to “repair” my A/C and then the Freon that I paid $2,700.00 for, leaked out due to poor soldering. The best suggestion I can give to anyone considering Anthem is RUN AWAY!!!!!

The person who was charged $200 for 2 lbs of refrigerant also happened to me but he sold to me after. The tech never showed me any evidence of a leak that I lost some refrigerant and it was just a fried wire. He fixed it and the AC started cooling before he said I needed 2 lbs of refrigerant. He said if I don’t add it, my AC will break again. So I paid and watched him add it but couldn’t tell if he added 2 lbs. I asked him how does he know if I needed 2 lbs, how did he measure? Good afternoon *********, Our technicians do carry scales on there trucks and are suppose to use them. Experienced techs can get a feel for how much refrigerant has been added without the scale, but our policy is to always use the scale so that we can accurately measure the amount added and keep track of refrigerant used. We will have a discussion with all of our technicians to make sure that they always follow our policies and procedures.

We have everything problem addressed and fixed. We used the ygreen program for our solar and wilth that program we received new air conditions units and pool pump. Our solar has really saved us a lot of money. I would rather spend the money improving my home than with the Edison co. This is a really hard working company and very accommodating
