We love to visit the reserve! Beautifully maintained and super friendly folks who run it. Miles of beautiful walking trails and a great picnic area. Also plenty of parking. Bring your camera because you can't take a bad picture here, super bloom or not.
Gorgeous! every bit as beautiful as I hoped. The wind is intense. The only down side is the people who feel entitled to go off trail to get their "perfect photo".
My friends and I visited yesterday and were in awe! So many poppies! Gorgeous! We did some hiking, had lunch at one of their covered picnic tables and enjoyed the views. We got there at about 10am and had no problem getting in and parking. Totally worth trip! 👍

Fantastic experience. We were there about two weeks ago and the flowers were unreal. The state reserve is well organized, clean, with plenty of parking. Their were crowds but it was an easy in and out. Well worth the trip to see these beautiful blooms.
It was an awesome experience with the family ,lots of hiking trails . It was very crowded but well managed . Looking forward for next years poppy bloom ;)
