Doctor Meraney and the staff provided me with life saving information and always made sure I understood every detail of my condition. After 1 or 2 appointments I knew I had the right doctor and felt like I was in the care of a family friend. Thank you Doctor Meraney and staff.
During my first visit, Dr. Meraney assured me that my surgery (open radical nephrectomy, tumor thrombectomy-left) would be successful, and he fully delivered on that promise. He has a calming, confident manner that guided me through the process. I am very thankful that he is my surgeon.
Dr M has EXCELLENT technical skill, experience, and training as an oncologic surgeon. When the outcome of surgery has a deep impact on survival this is 100% the surgeon-of-choice. He "plans" surgery using lab data AND patient input. His broad reputation is that he's the ultimate surgeon's surgeon ... tackling cases that strain those less capable. If there is even a chance to be seen by Dr M then you're already lucky. He has my HIGHEST POSSIBLE recommendation. I believe he saved my life.
Dr. Meraney and his staff saved my life and gave me a new lease on life when all the odds seem to be against me. After being diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer and enduring chemotherapy treatment, the very last thing anybody wanted to hear was that major surgery was in the works. The very first time I had a consult with Dr. Meraney, he exuded an aura of confidence that immediately put my mind at rest where my family and I wholeheartedly trusted his vast knowledge and expertise.
I never felt more vulnerable as when I first met Dr. Anoop Meraney. I had high grade bladder & urethelial cancer. He provided a pictorial analysis of my medical problem, The alternative with the greatest chance of long term success (as well as risk) was a ten hour surgery; so far, so good! Dr, Meraney is very caring & compassionate, is an excellent listener with positive communication skills, and is very diligent especially in the OR. His talent transcends his down-to-earth-ego. HH is lucky !
Dr Meraney performed a robotic prosta atectomy on my husband on May 1 of this year..The surgery went very well, and he was wanting a pizza when he woke up in the recovery room!!..He was up walking that evening, went home the next day, and started working from home 2 days after his surgery!!..he had discomfort for the first 2 days, not needing analgesics,though. 8 days late r he had his catheter removed and went to work right afterward!! We are now on week 4 and he is already 99% continent!..
