The visit was a pleasant one. The staff was very polite and friendly. The doctor was courteous and provided answers to all my questions and concerns and his explanations were easily understood.
I like that they moved my appointment location from Hartford, CT to Avon, CT. This was my annual follow-up appointment. All my results were great and I am now 10 years Cancer free!
Almost eight years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 2 bladder cancer that meant chemotherapy and then surgery for removal of my bladder and a neobladder performed by Dr. Meraney. I now celebrate two birthdays, as I have made a full recovery and am grateful to Dr. Meraney and the rest of medical team at two hospitals.
I just celebrated 3 years since Dr. Meraney performed my surgery for treatment of bladder cancer. Dr. Meraney is an excellent surgeon who has a way about him that puts you at ease from the first moment you meet him. His skills and reputation are flawless, He is an example of what all surgeons and doctors should be: compassionate, forthcoming, clear and highly qualified. He made my complicated kidney cancer surgery smooth, comfortable and most importantly, successful. I highly recommend him.
He was very meticulous and confident with my diagnosis. Doing incredibly well after surgery with no complications or lingering affects. Wonderful bedside manner and after care. His APRN ,nurses and assistants are all very kind.
My experience with Dr Meraney has been a very good one. I would highly recommend him. He has a terrific office manner and is a great listener. My husband recently had successful surgery for renal cell carcinoma that was performed by Dr. Meraney. Joe's kidney cancer was quite advanced which made the surgery more complicated and one that needed a surgeon familiar with doing this type of surgery. We were fortunate to have had Dr. Meraney referred to us and the rest is history. After putting together a fantastic team of doctors to assist in Joe's pre and post care, Dr. Meraney & team removed the cancerous kidney. Dr. Meraney is the best!
