I took my mother here for lunch today. She had a stroke 12 years ago and doesn't get out much. She lives in St. Marys and had several doctor appointments in Topeka today. She hasn't been eating very much lately but she completely cleaned up her plate of roast beef and mashed potatoes and gravy. When I went to help her go to the restroom with her walker, our lovely waitress took her into the restroom and made sure she didn't fall. That was definitely above and beyond the call of duty!! I came from out of state to visit my daughters. They wanted to go to Annies as they have never been there. We were so dissapointed as the food was overcooked, undercooked, and not hot. We waited awhile as people who came in after us were served first. We were not waited on after we were served the food so drinks were not refilled.
Drove all the way from Texas to eat there. The food and service were great. The owners are wonderful people that make you feel right at home. It's like you've known them all your life. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Well I know it was thanksgiving but we went there to get away from a traditional thanksgiving dinner. When we got there we were given a choice of either turkey or ham. That was all. So the regular menu was not available to order from. Also they would not allow substitutions. My dad didn't want green beans he wanted to exchange for the potatos that came in the have plate. He was told no he could do that. Also my mom's food was not hot and had to be microwaved for her to make it warmer. So my first time ever going there and wa... read more

One of my favorite spots. The fresh bread bowls make the soup even more delicious.
I an absolutely in love with the carrot cake and well everything but especially the carrot cake!!!!
