Anna is honest, fair and very talented – Anna is the warm, likable, Italian Grandmother we all wish we had. Over the past five years, she has tailored several dresses, suits, pants and most recently, two oversized sweat shirts for me. Her work has been excellent and worth every penny I have paid her. Anna knows when she can fix an item and when she can't. If you want your alterations done properly, go to Anna. Great TAILOR – So I had read the reviews of Anna's and let me first say THIS IS NOT ANNA. She does not even know how to access the internet. I had purchased a brand new italian suit just over a year ago, and after 20 pounds of lost weight, the jacket no longer fit. The 42 L swallowed me. After speaking with Nordstrom and some other places, I was told NO ONE could take in a suit jacket, particulary through the shoulders. Excellent work – I'm not going to gush about Anna the way some of the reviewers have. I did get a *little* attitude from her at first and her prices are somewhat higher than I might prefer, BUT she is a fantastic tailor. I brought in a dress that was basically a size too big and I needed this dress for an important occasion. She fixed the dress and it looked magnificent. Miracle Worker – Found Anna here on Citysearch and took in a bridesmaid dress that was way too big and ill-fitting. Anna completely reworked the dress and turned it from a sack of material into a beautiful dress. I got it back within a week, which was quite amazing, and it fit perfectly. I'm so thankful I found Anna's and I will definitely be back. Grazie mille Anna!
high priced and with attitude – Anna is overpriced, and worse yet , she is rude. She also seems to stock this site with phony reviews. I know that my friend's critical review immediately disappeared.
Best Italian Tailor in Los Angeles – I needed two suits tailored for a job next week in London. She had them re-cut, pressed and ready the next day. OK. She insists on my modeling the cloths for her, a privilege reserved for first-time customers only. What can I say, it sent shivers up my spine to see how perfect the cut was. Armani and Versace, better than ever. She even tapered by pants, so as to have them look more current. A touch of class. The search stops here. She takes pride in her work, and so do I.
Awesome Service – I recently had to bring a too small bridesmaids dress in to be altered. Not only did she alter it to make it fit but she also hemmed it beautifully as well so I wouldn't trip when walking down the aisle. She is truly a genius and a wonderfully nice woman too. Best Tailor in Town!! – Why go to Italy to buy nice clothes when you can go to Anna who will make all of your clothes look like you just came back from Rome!
