Jan and I have been taking our pets to Animal Medical Clinic since 2003 and have never considered taking them elsewhere. The entire staff is professional, personable and genuinely loves animals. I recently brought in an older cat that had been abandoned that was covered in fleas and seriously malnourished. Dr Godwin is usually my pet's doctor but was unavailable, however Dr Young stepped in and was just as kind, thoughtful and thorough. Our dog Zeus was needing to be put to sleep today,and they were amazing! I can honestly say through the past 6 1/2 years of taking him here he loved them, and they loved him right back. They were like part of the family! The entire staff was heartbroken, and many were in tears. While I hate the loss of our dog, it was comforting to watch how gentle and caring they were with him. We have heard great things about this veterinary practice. So that is why we decided to bring in our dog that was limping a lot. X Rays were done and I was told she had a soft tissue injury and that she just needed rest. Months after watching her continue to struggle even after resting, we knew something still wasn't right. We took our dog to a different vet that painted a very clear picture for us. Turns out the real problem is that she has congenital elbow dysplasia, joint effusion, and a luxating patella. When we came home from work, we noticed that our cat had a huge cyst on his face. It was about the size of a ping pong ball. it was late in the afternoon and we quickly captured the poor guy and set out. The office was going to be closing in less than an hour and we had no appointment. We walked in knowing that there was a good chance we would be turned away to an overpriced emergency pet clinic.
