We have had a wonderful experience during both visits with each of our cats. Dr Barker was wonderful and explained everything. All of the staff we interacted with were very helpful and very nice. We won’t be going anywhere else for our pet care:)

For the 20 years we have lived in Chesapeake and Norfolk, Animal Medical has given compassionate care to our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Even in this difficult time of COVID-19 social distancing, they gave us an appointment within 2 days for a nail clipping so my 20 year old cat wouldn't be in pain or get an infection. Thank you, Animal Medical!

We've been clients of Animal Medical of Chesapeake for a long time. Dr Carrico and her staff are caring, supportive, and community-minded. We've had a multitude of issues with our dogs and cats over the years, and we've relied on Dr Carrico's knowledge and expertise to guide us. Our current dog is a very fearful boy, but he does beautifully with Dr C and her staff!! Recommend this veterinary practice highly.
My mom and I have taken our dogs to Dr. Carico at Animal Medical for at least ten years and they are the only vet practice allowed to touch our dogs. I have always found her to be knowledgeable and you can tell she's passionate about what she does. The staff has always been amazing too. I recently had to put my little one to sleep, and although I left obviously devastated, I wanted to thank Animal Medical and Dr. Carico and the staff for making this horrible experience as easy as it could be. I have used this place since Hoppie was a kitten first and only place I have went. The people here are wonderful and have helped me out in a tight situation. My blessings and � goes to these people they really care about your 4 legged family member.
