After having AMC as my vet for over 27 years I AM DONE. My dog was ill and had been exhibiting symptoms that were not improving for several days. Nothing but good things to say about this animal clinic. All the staff is very welcoming, professional and kind. When we lost one of our pups, Chesty a couple years back they were so amazing and so supportive of our family’s loss. Dr. Powell was my Shar Pei, Puddles’, doctor for her nine years of life. From spaying, dental work, trauma care following an attack, and testing and advice following a CCL tear and IBS/ulcer diagnosis, she and her staff listened to me, helped me, and supported Puddles through everything her nine years entailed. At the end of Puddles’ life, I could have not have asked for a more understanding and compassionate person to be with me when it was time to end her pain. Thank you, Dr. Powell, for everything.
I travel over an hour to visit Dr. Powell and her staff because they care and listen to their clients. The exam rooms are big, bright, clean and comfortable for patients and family members. Dr. Powell is very thorough and test when needed, she has always helped me make the best decisions on treatments/care for my dogs. She always keeps it fun and they love their visits to the clinic. Which makes my drive worthwhile.

I have been going to this vet since moving to Connecticut about 18 months ago, primarily for reproductive services. Dr. Powell and her staff are great! Customer service is superb. There is always a short turnaround with availability of appointments, they are very accommodating if emergencies arise and you have to reschedule appointments, and their knowledge and expertise in and out of their practice is hugely evident. The Team at the Animal Medical Clinic are amazing. Dr. Tracey and her staff are the best around. They take excellent care of our dogs and us. We are thankful for the 2 puppies that Tracey did the breeding and C-section. She is a caring and giving Dr. calling to check on the pups and mom. The staff is so nice and caring bunch of people.
