We Appreciate All AMC Has Done For Us – Stasia is doing great!! She is happy and healthy and running the river on a regular schedule. She turned 6 on November 4th and we had a little party. We appreciate all AMC has done for us!
My Dog Won't Let Me Go Anywhere Else! – I am so relieved to have found Dr. Tesar and his staff. I've been through 2 other vet clinics and 4 separate vets in just the past 12 months. AMC Portland's honesty and integrity is so appreciated. Even Stella knew who she was dealing with. She almost kissed him (on the first date no less!). It took her 9 years to kiss our old Florida vet. It's been less than 24 hours since our visit, and I've already given their number to 2 people!

Thorough and Knowledgeable – Dr. Tesar provided us with a thorough and knowledgeable consult and explanations for a course of action regarding our dog's seizures. Thanks again! He's also quite humorous, which was appreciated.
Definitely Recommended – A friend of mine recommended Animal Medical Clinic to me because I was unhappy with my old vet. The receptionists and nurses were all very polite and professional, and the doctor I saw (Dr. Tesar) was great. He spent plenty of time with me and had a great bedside manner with my dog. Her teeth were bad, so he scheduled her right in for a teeth cleaning the next day. I dropped her off at 7:30 before work and picked her up that evening. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! – I strongly recommend going to another clinic. Dr. Randy Tesar ( I use Doctor as loosely as possible) has extremely poor bedside manner. Upon a poor examination of my 5 month old kitty, he told me to "watch out for the red gum line" and after naming the horrible disease that it could turn in to told me "he didnt want to even go into what could happen if it had it, we pull teeth from cats." Unskilled, Incompetent, Awful Vet! – This place caused my dog to require a major surgery to fix their mistakes and almost cost her a leg. She was unable to return to normal activities for 8 months because of Dr. Tesar's absolute incompetence. When another vet saw the Xrays he could not believe another vet could have done such terrible work. When I found this out I called the Vet board of Oregon to complain and Dr. Tesar is the most sued Vet in Oregon. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. it is cheaper than most and there is a reason. AMC care – I have read several of these reviews and laugh. Dr. Tesar has repaired two of my dogs knees, so I have spent a large amount of time in the clinic. There have been multiple dogs in the clinic who are in various stages of repair. All of these owners have seemed to be pleased with the care and I know that my dogs have healed quicker than most of the blogs seem to indicate. QUALITLY CARE FROM COMPASSIONATE CLINIC – We have taken our cats to AMC for over 10 years and have received top-notch veterinary care from Dr. Tesar, clinic vets, techs and staff. From routine exams, spay/neuter surgeries, other surgeries (life-saving and otherwise), hospitalizations and emergencies, all have been provided with compassion and professionalism.
