Our dog is a regular patient at this vet. He got neutered this past Monday and started throwing up today. Called the vet this morning and they won’t see him because they close at 1 pm. The girl told me to take him to an ER. Very disappointed in this clinic, especially since he’s their patient. I highly recommend they leave a window open for emergencies to come in on the weekends. Emergencies happen and we shouldn’t be expected to take our babies all the way to an ER when their regular vet is currently open.
RecommendedWe were recommended to the Animal Hospital of Melissa for after care when we had to take our dog to the Emergency Vet Hospital. While we live in McKinney, we made the trip North to Melissa and are SO GLAD WE DID! We’ve been super impressed with the staff at the front desk, the technicians and Dr. Pazora. RecommendedIt was super easy to get a same-day appointment. The staff was friendly and courteous even when trying to transfer records from a previous business that was being difficult. As I arrived, they could see me struggling into the door while carrying my pet cage and hurried over to open the door and assist me into the building. They even opened the door as I left my appointment and offered to help me to my car. The veterinarian and vet tech were very helpful in explaining my animal's health concerns without using vet vocabulary. ... read more
We are so lucky to have this hospital in our community. Love all of the staff and especially Dr Day. Everyone shows such tenderness and love to our pets.
RecommendedFrom the moment I made the phone call, it was amazing service throughout. The lady on the phone took the time to answer my questions and gave me good information. When I took my puppy in, I had amazing service. The lady at the desk even went above and beyond to get my baby some cold water. Dr.Jill was amazing when doing my baby’s shots, she distracted her with treats & some yum peanut butter. I was very pleased with this vet hospital! Thanks so much for a great experience!!!
