Great place! Called ahead to see if they would take my kitten who was in respiratory distress as a walk-in emergency & they had staff at the door awaiting our arrival. They even stayed open an hour later to help save my kittens life! I’m appreciate to all the staff members who assisted with our multiple visits these last few days everyone has been so helpful & communicated each step along this difficult way. My kittens not out of the woods yet but I rest better knowing she’s in great hands. 😀
We took our new rescue Tiki to Lake Emma today. She is fearful of strangers and we were worried how she would react. Dr. Hecker and the staff were wonderful with her. They used love, calm voices and treats to try to gain her trust. They spent quality time educating us with tips on how to help get her adjusted to her new life. We will be back in a few weeks for her boosters. Thank you Team Lake Emma Animal Hospital. See you soon!
Over priced and not good at diagnosis. Staff is good. They charge $50 for chipping a dog when others charge much less.
We love all the staff at LEAH, especially Dr. Hecker! She treated our lab Homer through a period of declining health, offered us moral support along the way, and helped us say goodbye to him in the most compassionate way when the time came. Now Dr. Hecker sees our two Frenchies, Tyrion and Theo, and we wouldn’t trust their care to anyone else.
