5 stars for sure! Our rat terrier, Domino, was hit by a truck yesterday morning. It was purely an accident. Initially, Dr. Shields thought he may lose his front right leg but that he would survive. Throughout the day he was kept on IV medication and sedation and held in a warming pen at Bay City Vet. They called us several times to keep us updated on his status. (They were amazing!) If I could give the customer service end of BCV negative stars, I would! **I was referred to this vet by a colleague for stallion collection. I researched the website which states, "We provide both broodmare and stallion services which include: reproductive evaluations, artificial insemination, foal services, stallion standing and stallion collection"...only to be told they do not provide this service! On Nov. 29, 2016 our Miniature French Poodle Suzie was bitten on the side of the head by a Texas Diamondback Rattlesnake while we were on vacation. Bottom line... If it wasn't for the caring doctors and staff, their team effort and quick actions in getting Suzie treated she would have died! Suzie is not just a dog to us she is family.
