Visited AES early Sunday when our dog was experiencing difficulty breathing. We were the only ones in the waiting room but still waited at least 15-20 minutes. The attendants were pleasant but for some reason they almost seemed unsure of themselves, may be just bad vibes. The Dr. was also pleasant and did a quick exam and believed X-Rays were needed. We were quoted $480 for the X-Ray (our vet charges $95) since they must "send them out" to be evaluated. We opted not to have the X-Ray performed. We asked how much for the visi... read more

Took my 9 year old dog there having seizures for the first time EVER. My 2 year old son was with me scared to death about our dog Sasha. All they cared about was the $972 estimate and would barely even look at the dog until they were sure that we could afford it. We admitted the dog, paid the bill and 30 minutes later we got a phone call saying all their tests were done. They said they can nothing wrong with the dog. In the end, I payed $972 for 2 xrays and an in house blood test that took all of 30 minutes to do. When I dis... read more

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. From the moment we walked in with our very sick dog, not even in the middle of the night, but at 1pm in the afternoon with an appointment, we received not even a hello from the receptionist. The vet barely acknowledged our dog while doing an exam, immediately told us our dog was on deaths door, and hit us with a HUGE bill within 5 minutes. It only got worse and more un-compassionate from there when we attempted to question their course of treatment. We walked out knowi... read more
Was this provider's office too cold? Not at all, it was the perfect temperature Was this veterinarian gentle when caring for your pet? Yes, they always demonstrate care and compassion Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines? Yes Does this provider maintain a professional appearance? Yes, he/she looked very professional Does this provider ever overbook appointments here? No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
On a Sunday evening, we had the unfortunate feeling that it was time to put our ferret to sleep. The staff was not only uncaring but rude. I would say very rude by the receptionist. It may only be a ferret to them but the love we had for the little guy was the same love people have for their cats and dogs. There was no compassion. When asking questions, the receptionist seemed annoyed. The whole vibe in the place felt so wrong that we had to leave. Unfortunately he will have to wait another night to visit our regular vet who... read more
