This place used to be awesome! I had a Siberian who we thought had gotten into some rat poison and they loaded me up with Vitamin K for about 1/2 the cost the local pharmacy would have charged (it was still almost $500 for my 100LB monster.) WE have used them over the last 25 years for several animals that needed weekend help, including putting down one of our cats that had been viciously attacked by a dog. The staff and doctors here are absolutely amazing. I brought in my dog at 3am because she was attacked by a coyote and the doctors managed to stabilize her enough for us to transport her to a nearby vet that could perform the emergency surgery that she needed. I truly believe that they saved my dogs life and am extremely grateful for all they did for me and my family.
Caught them trying to tack extraneous items onto the bill. Staff is manipulative, exploitative, and dishonest. One technician claimed they had to run a diagnostic panel because they didn't have anything on file, later a second technician spoke with me and mentioned the results of our recent diagnostic panel that they received from our regular vet. oops! Our dog developed a cough on Sunday so we brought her here as our vet was closed. Her cough sounded a lot like the kennel cough she’d had previously so we assumed it would be a quick diagnosis, they’d give us some meds for our pup and we’d be on our way. How wrong we were! Despite the doctor “noticing just some slight irritation”, he recommended x rays, blood work and injections that totaled nearly $900.
