Dr. Welch and the staff at the emergency clinic are so good at what they do. I've been to the emergency several times over the past few years with my animals and I've never had any issues or complaints. Shreveport is blessed to have this facility and it's staff.
The staff at the Animal Emergency Clinic were amazing to my family and our fur baby. After a super scary copperhead bite, these guys were prompt, well trained, incredibly consoling, and beyond friendly. I couldn't have asked for any better care for our pet or our family.
Took in my Boston Terrier at 7:30 Sunday morning. No one was in the waiting room but was told they had a rush the night before. We waited about an hour to see anyone but when we did they were very thorough. Lucy had a double ear infection and was glad they were able to see her.
we had to take our chester to the e.r. the other night. they said he needed to stay over night. well that turned into 2 nights and lots and lots of testing. i kept calling to check on him during his stay so im sure i drove then crazy. we picked him up and still no diagnosis. went straight to our vet to watch him. and still nothing. i think if pet cams in the rooms so the parents can watch their furrbaby when they want to. they are fairly cheap and easy as a plug and play. we didnt know for sure he was even being taken care o... read more
They were really wonderful and kind. Dr. Welch called and kept us informed. I cannot complain about the treatment she received. Just wish they would adjust their pricing.
We brought our 14-year old dachshund to the emergency clinic yesterday evening during a severe bout of vomiting and diarrhea. He was so weak, that he would collapse each time he vomited. The staff and doctor there made us feel that our baby was getting the best care possible outside of his regular veterinarian, Dr. Snyder. Within 24 hours, they had him feeling 100% better and sent us home with the necessary medication to restore him back to health.
I was really impressed. I really think they need to lower prices a little bc we are at their beck and call bc they are the only Vet after hrs and we don't have that kind of money to shell out right then but these animals are our family.
