Our wonderful domestic rabbit had an emergency that we could never have imagined was possible. We arrived at the facility and the staff looked at him and said his teeth were nice and he seemed to be physically ok. I requested that they allow him to be peacefully put to sleep but they insisted that we should wait for up to 5 hours in the hot parking lot. I knew he was having imminent death.
