Horrible, heartless and cold. Please don't take your precious animals here. My puppy Sophie got under our fence and was attacked by the dog next door. I rushed her to this "clinic" hoping that they would be able to save her. She was immediately taken back, but that was the only good thing that happened all night. About 30 seconds after she had been taken back, a young lady came out and explained that she was a critical case and handed me a form to fill out and explained that there is a $400 deposit for critical care. Right a... read more

Horrible service, awful to animals Dog was injured and they refused to care for her until they received money, even though they were assured they would be paid but there was no access to money in the middle of the night. They let her sit in pain until nothing could be done even if they were paid immediately and she had to be put down. Refused to let us in the room with her. Refused to let us see her or take her body. Insulted us and threatened to call the cops if we persisted. Still demanded payment. Please take your pet som... read more

Awesome. We rushed our dog there 3 hours ago upon realizing she wasn't breathing. She was dead on arrival. The one thing that made this horrible experience a little better is the wonderful service we received at the Animal ER. THeir staff was so caring and considerate of us. Thank you!

Very disappointing My dog recently got into a dog fight after the hours that my normal Vet clinic was open. I called this Animal ER and the gentlemen I talked to very unprofessional. I asked him how busy the clinic was and if he could see my dog. The first words out of his mouth were, "we are full for the night you will have to take your animal someone else." He did not ask what was wrong with my animal or had any concern at all and basically ended the conversation himself. I would not even give this "care center" a full sta... read more

Horrible I went in today because I have a very sick 3 month old kitten. They wanted to charge me 209 bucks for a bunch of blood work WITHOUT the doctor even seeing the kitten or even talking to us. I couldn't afford that and told them so, so they gave her a IV and ran one test that came back negative. I was then told to go to her normal vet tomorrow. 150 bucks later. The kitten hasn't kept anything down in days and is severally dehydrated. She can't move and her body is cold and stiff and yet they tell me to take her to her ... read more

Horrendous, Not recommended Several months ago, my dog was hit by a car. The person who hit Max took off before I could get out to the street. He was sitting in the gutter whining because I had been calling and he couldn't get to me. It was close to midnight and I had to get a neighbor to help carry him to my house. The only place I could find that was open was the Clearfield Animal ER. We called ahead, and they were waiting for us. I knew my dog was in bad shape, he couldn't move his back legs and had lost his bowel in the ... read more

Excellent and professional care I have had my dog in twice and both times the care and examinations were very thorough and professional. I feel like my dog was examined better here than he ever was at our regular vet, and the recommendations were relevant and realistic. The price is high, but it is an after hours ER, I expected that. The vets took time with us, answered all our questions, and were sensitive to our feelings for our pet. I will return here again when the need arises.

Help at a Sad Time When my 16-yr. old dog, Taffy, collapsed in the back yard for the 4th time and I was unable to reach my regular vet, a friend helped me get her to the Animal Emergency Center in Sunset. I knew what they were going to tell me - that she was dying. The staff acted immediately, asking me what my preference was - to let nature take its course or to euthanise. I chose euthanisation. The staff let me remain with Taffy through it all. They monitored her closely until it was over. I was very impressed with how car... read more
