The office is the best I have ever been to. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I love Dr. Patton, he treats my pets like his own. This Animal Care is certainly the highest five star office there is.

They neutered my rabbit Oscar and he was fine came back super spunky and that was over a year ago. They get a 4 because I recently took my female (whoni thought was a male ) to be desexed and over the phone I stated I wasn't sure if it was a boy or girl. Well they shaved her put her under just to bring her back and tell me that she was a girl and didn't have time to spay her. I still had to pay for anesthesia, so I was slightly annoyed because they could have checked her before doing all of that. But they're both fine.

Brought my juvenile bearded dragon here for a hurt/broken limb. The staff was nice and I was seen very quickly. The vet was very knowledgeable and kind. Will always bring my exotics here.

Business response:

We are deeply saddened about your daughter’s rabbit, Hugs. We take great care to research and individualize an anesthetic protocol for every patient that comes under our care including many exotic patients. Unfortunately, every time a pet undergoes anesthesia there are inherent risks for complications. This is especially true for rabbits and other exotic animals. With sympathy for your loss, the Doctors and Staff of Animal Care Associates.

Obviously I chose "I hated it" because my daughter's beloved rabbit died there today during surgery to neuter him. I thought I'd asked all of the right questions before taking him there, read their website, checked up on them. Yes, they have experience with rabbits they told me. I understand any time an animal is put under anesthesia there is some risk. Everything I read says that the risk should be very small for a healthy rabbit being neutered in today's time though. I'm posting this in case someone else is looking for a v... read more

I'm not sure how they are vet-wise, but I took my dog there for a week when I was on vacation. I now drive an hour to take my dog somewhere else to board. I do not recommend at all.

Business response:

Ms Holcomb, We are sorry that Hank's stay with us was not what you expected. We strive to make all pets who stay with us comfortable and care for them to the best of our ability.
