Dr. Arteaga is the best oncologist in Monterey County. She is an angel sent by God. Sammy was treated just like a baby. Dr. Arteaga is very understanding, super intelligent and very patient!!! I would give her 100 stars if I could! Sammy was just diagnosed last week with stage II Lymphoma and Dr. Arteaga explained everything in super details and gave us hope that Sammy -Yorkie mix has a good chance at fighting this. Dr Arteaga and her staff are wonderful. Our golden retriever, Kodiak received the best care AND he loved the bowl of chicken he got at each visit.
My Yorkie lost her battle with lymphoma yesterday. Through it all, the staff treated her with dignity and love. Even those who were not treating her on a given day would go out of their way to show her how much they genuinely cared for her. As a healthcare provider myself, I often had tough questions for them that were always answered honestly and thoroughly. We should all be so lucky as our pets to have caregivers who truly care.
