I have complicated vision and eye health (presbyopia, astigmatism, anisometropia, previous retina surgeries). I wasn’t given enough info to make decisions about the type of IOL I should get. Her staff rushed and said things like I can answer your questions but the doctor doesn’t have time to. I felt very rushed also by the staff at the surgery center. I first heard of ICL surgery when I was refused LASIK at another franchised lasik office. They briefly explained that my prescription was really high and LASIK and that I didn’t have enough lens tissue to cut and shape. No other explanations except that ICL could be an option. they did not refer me anywhere. Dr. Nguyen's clinic is always clean, calm, and friendly when I am there. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. I come here for my regular eye exams, and recently I came to Dr. Nguyen for my ICL procedure. My cataract surgery and implant of light adjusting lenses (LAL) went very smoothly. Dr Nguyen and her excellent team were both patient and supportive in explaining surgery options and choices for lenses, and in answering questions. Received lasik treatment and have been extremely satisfied with the results and the personalized attention offered by all the staff. The doctor explained every step of the procedure as it occurred and recovery was incredibly fast due to the expert care. The procedure itself took only 10-15 minutes. There was minor discomfort but no pain and improvement in vision was obvious as soon as the procedure was complete. I have struggled with light sensitivity, a gritty feeling, and cloudy vision in my left eye due to keratitis, for many years. Dr. Nguyen is the first ophthalmologist I have found who treated it proactively and was genuinely interested in my progress. She recommended the MICE procedure which I had done in August 2022 and it has completely changed my eye. The light sensitivity and grittiness are gone and my vision is improving. I am so, so happy with the result. I cannot recommend Dr. Nguyen enough.
