Sadly I have to amend my review as I woke up the next morning with bed bug bites.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Miami! Valet parking was great, easy to get/ retrieve your car as parking in the area is really expensive. We found queues at reception at times very long, but staff were friendly when served. Room was spacious and comfy, clean & had lots of great amenities. My son chose this hotel, having stayed here once before, to celebrate his birthday weekend. We booked two separate king rooms. Immediately upon arrival we noticed that the lobby area was very small, congested and had an unwelcoming appearance. Only one of our rooms was ready upon arrival, so we threw our luggage into that room so that we could head out to enjoy the sites. When we returned to the hotel, our second room was available. Unfortunately did not meet my expectations. Very outdated and not worth the value. The elevators smelled strongly of urine or mildew. My room on the second floor, facing the front entry, seemed to have several issues. On the first night, I noticed a mosquito and later found there were more in the room. Despite checking the patio door, which seemed secure, I killed at least four mosquitos that night. My experience at this property was terrible. I arrived at midnight and was given a hotel room that was not clean. Dusty and the restroom was dirty filled with hairs from the previous guest and water stains. I called the reception and they dismissed me by saying talk to the manager tomorrow. The following day I was moved to a different room that seemed clean. That night in the patio area, there was a full blown yelling match between a couple discussing how the guy cheated on the girl with Lilly. The fight went on for about 2 ... read more
