Restaurants We stopped in there after a day of shopping and was very surprised.It is like going back in time to the mom and pop dinner. The servings are more than generous, the prices and service is great. They give you hometown relaxed eating experience.
Best Chicken This little resturant on Portland Ave has by far the best chicken in the Tacoma area. Go by there and order a 20 chicken with Jo Jo's and you will not be disappointed.
Anglea's Resturant Anglea's is one of the best older restaurants around. It has been in business for ever. The owner is a nice guy and the staff is very efficient and friendly. The food is great, especially the breakfasts and the milkshakes are the real deal! Their chicken and Joe's are very good also. Good place to eat, I would recommend this restaurant.

Love it! I love love love this restaurant!! The wait staff are friendly and make you feel at home rigth away. My favorite meal there is breakfast. You cannot beat the weekend special of ham and eggs and the blueberry pancakes are so yummy! The portions are generous. I can't eat everything that is on my plan (even thou I try!) You have to try this restaurant, locally owned, family ran and just one of those old fashion, fun to be at restaurants!!
