Had an appointment at 0900 on 03/08/2023. I arrived around 0850am, nurse had an X-ray and then let me wait on the operation chair around 0905. I waited on the chair until 0920 and asked the nurse to let the doc know that I am waiting. then the front office lady stopped by around 0930 and told me that doc was still on the way to the office. Walked in for a consultation with Dr. Katona for a possible gum graft. I was walked into an open area with three dental chairs side by side and sat in the first one. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me and numbered my teeth to an assistant. She then said they would do an estimate with my insurance and I could schedule the appointment for the gum graft. A year ago, I was told by another dentist to extract the rest of my (19) decayed and infected teeth for a complete set of dentures. I had my top teeth removed and the dentist that I was going to wasn't helping me anymore so I decided to find another dentist. I chose Anew Dental and Orthodontics in Plainfield, Il. Dentist was skilled and staff was good and friendly. Also, they did not seem to be obsessed with the all mighty dollar. Prices and work recommended were reasonable.
