After enduring painful and long periods as well as horrible pelvic pain when not on my period, I finally found Dr. Andrews. She was the only doctor that was willing to test my hormones and prescribe just what I needed to stop the pain and the never ending periods. I went to countless doctors before her and by some miracle I found her. I will forever be thankful. She prescribed bio identical progesterone and I was finally able to feel better. All the other doctors pushed birth control on me despite me telling them I don’t do w... read more
I had severe pre eclampsia but didn’t know it until delivery. My blood pressure was abnormal at the time of my visit and I tried explaining to Dr Andrews how crummy I felt (second pregnancy and not at all normal for me). I don’t like to complain and I just felt misheard and frankly, stupid pushing the issue with her. It was like she just didn’t have time for me. It was a very short visit and I made for certain when I scheduled never to be seen by her.
I have gone to legacy obgyn for the past 5 years with terrible pain and bleeding associated with my periods. They did nothing but switch my birth control every time I went in and test me for STDs which were impossible for me to even have. The last time I went in about 2 months ago they said.. “we see nothing wrong and there is nothing we can do you will have to go see your family care dr.” I immediately scheduled with Dr. Andrews from utah valley women’s Health who got me in for a laparoscopic surgery to find out I have endo... read more
I’ve seen Dr. Andrews ever since I moved to Utah. She delivered my second child which was a great experience. My son flipped breech at 38 weeks and she took care to make sure he was head first and healthy. Because she is not part of the rotating group you might have to wait for her to finish a delivery, but she’s quick and efficient in her appointments.
I got an IUD placed by her, she answered ALL of my questions, was very kind and listened well. She did a great job placing it, told me what to expect and told me step by step what she was doing and why. Her nurse was amazing and also answered any questions that I had. Would highly recommend.
Terrible. She doesn't care about the health of her patients or her patients' pregnancy. She's not an OBGYN. She's a Family Medicine doctor posing as an OBGYN. She’s not trained to be working in obstetrics and gynecology. As well, the fact that she doesn't care about the health of her patients indicates she's a terrible person. She’s just there to collect a big paycheck.
She’s awful. She didn’t care about my birth plan. She didn’t listen to my concerns. I kept asking and she treated me like I was invisible. I tried to change doctors and Valley OB wouldn’t let me. My birth experience was a nightmare. I’m still recovering. Don’t go to her.
Dr. Andrews is AMAZING at what she does! She takes the time to answer questions and answers them confidently. I never leave my appointments feeling worried or that my concerns weren't addressed. When it came time to deliver, Dr. Andrews let me take the lead and was patient with my wishes for a natural birth. I wasn't progressing very quickly but she never pressured me to do anything I didn't want to. I made the decision to get the epidural and pitocin and had a beautiful, easy delivery.
Dr. Andrews is very professional, concise and most importantly - caring. She was always on time and respected our busy schedule by focusing on what we needed and nothing more. We felt that she was ready and eager to respond to any question or concern we may have had and she allowed us to lead the conversation. Our experience with her for our son's birth left us feeling well cared for and we highly recommend Dr. Andrews for anyone considering.
