I purchased several items from the Samuels store in Longview Texas in December of 2018. They could not and have not to date produced the certifications for the diamonds. I took the items back a week after purchase and they refused to take them back because they are in chapter 11 bankruptcy. I left the diamonds in the store and have two witnesses and a video as proof. I’m HIGHLY upset to find out that this company is closed! I purchased a ring from Rogers Jewelers a branch under Samuels on January 21, 2018. My fiancé and I are getting married this month, May 25, 2019. We moved from Arkansas last October in 2018 to Texas. I keep seeing all these my ring was fake messages and to be honest I’m scared to have mine checked. I have called comenity to ask what they are going to do about refunding warranties as when I bought my ring the company knew about the bankruptcy but still sold me lifetime warranties on 3 pieces. I am trying to get that balance refunded. Comenity told me to call and send a certified letter and I did. The letter was returned. I do not feel I should have to pay for these warranties. Since June I have had my wedding ring a total of 2 weeks and 2 days. It has been returned to Samuels for the same diamond falling out 3 separate times. Now they are bankrupt so no customer service. I picked up my ring tonight and the diamond has been replaced with a milky, obviously sub standard stone. My warranty is no good, even though I paid for it for a lifetime. I would give zero stars for this company if I could! Beware of ALL Samuels Jwelwra stores!! They have no integrity. We purchased a lifetime warranty for my wedding ring and this company says they no longer honor these warranties. I would understand that if this company completely closed all their doors that my warranty would not longer be valid. But how can a functioning company go back on their contract with a customer that has paid for a service for no explained reasons?? We have received no written letters or emails and I... read more

If I was able, I wouldn’t even give this jewelers a 1 star. They lost my wedding band, tried to tell me another ring was my band, reordered a new ring, gave me the wrong size (too large), fixed again and made it too small this time, and finally I have a ring that is a little off size wise but I am tired of dealing with them. I called customer service two times to talk to a manager and it has been over a month and still haven’t heard anything! It has been so awful and I want to warn buyers to beware.

Terrible... just terrible. We were not told upfront that the engagement ring we were sold contained lab grown diamonds/sapphires and were lead to believe they were natural based off the sticker price, which was absurdly overpriced for lab grown diamonds. We had to take the ring elsewhere to get appraised since Andrews did not provide us any information on the ring and when I called to ask I was told they didn't have any information and couldn't look it up. Absolutely terrible customer service. I went in to get 2 rings sized at my local Samuels (Victorville, CA.) and they told me that it would be between 1 to 2 weeks as their in-store jeweler only worked on third party rings and they had to send customer rings out for servicing. Going on the third week now, they said that the rings won't be ready until the 18th of this month (May). They then told me to call the corporate office to complain. If I could describe Samuels Jewelers in one word it would be fraudulent. Bought ring for girlfriend..... during the sales process the salesman Harley show me the ring under a Jeweler's loupe in microscope to inform me of the inclusion of the Centerstone and the reason why it was discounted.
