My wife is the actual patient but I was present for most appointments. Dr T spent almost no actual time in appointments and didn't answer questions or even give an opportunity for questions to be asked. The most that he spoke to her was all the reasons that he would refuse to treat her. He never once explained how the meds get dosed from the pump, showed either one of us the pump that was being implanted in her back or even what type of medicine was actually in said pump. He has been nothing but helpful and kind. Very caring doctor I don't know what I'd do without him. Office visits takes awhile but it's worth it. He is genuinely interested in helping his patients.

He’s been helping me for years, and I appreciate the time and detail he puts into finding solutions for pain management. He’s constantly coming up with new ideas to help my pain, and it’s been very helpful. Dr Trobridge also cares, and you can tell. I appreciate that in a healthcare provider.
Terrible. I wouldn't recommend this guy to my worst enemy. Spent less than 2 minutes in room after 1-1/2 hour wait each visit. Did nothing to help me until my husband was with me and referred me to a different specialist (and offered everything under the sun). It's all about the $$ to him.
I was supposed to receive a packet to fill out, didn't get it until the day after the appt. I arrived early so I had time to fill out the packet (huge ream of questions about condition and pain locations and levels). I was still seen an hour late. Knowing I suffered from Anxiety and was in a lot of pain, Dr. Trowbridge had zero concern for my pain, anxiety, or my comfort level to his proposed procedure. He's an arrogant pompous hack at best. I was referred to him by my doc to simply do a pump replacement. He didn't like the fact that I had the gaul to suggest that he might need an adapter for the catheter since he wasn't changing it out with the pump and we were going from a Medtronic to a Flowonix. He told me several times during the consult that I was more than able to find a different doctor. Low and behold the day of surgery guess what wasn't in the operating room...The Adapter! MY Husband went to DR. T. I have NEVER encountered a DR. that was arrogant, unprofessional & condescending as he was. He is only good for one thing INJECTIONS! He did a procedure at BAll MEMORIAL on my husband only worked for 8hrs. Office visits with him were worse! Repeated injections in his spine My husband was in the office last month he mentioned to Dr T. that his left hip was hurting instead of doing an xray out came the NEEDLE! I was referred to Dr. Trobridge by my PCP, he told me I don’t have degenerated disc disease because I’m only 33. Two other Dr’s said I do. He spent less than 5 minutes in the exam room and gave me nothing. Not even a suggestion on how I could manage my pain better. He told me my pain isn’t coming from my spine (I know better than anyone where it’s coming from) and he said he didn’t know where it was coming from.
